Todays games are done on highest level. Professional video cards and multi processor systems gave us abillity to play games with icredible graphics. Doom 3 is out and i am sure it will be top seller, but until what time? Will id software hold it's piedistal of best fps game? Lets check the screenshoots:
1. Unreal 3
Mine opinion: Will destroy Doom 3.
Lets look at some screens :
As you can see they are just amazing! I just cant imagine what kind of computer i will need to try this baby. We also can be sure on good script and good gameplay.
2. Half Life 2
Mine opinion: Cant beat both doom 3 and unreal 3.

Awful all i cna say! Maybe they will have some rela physics like opening doors with gun, but i saw it in Red Faction already! They should leave it for Counter-Strike 2 and make soem good grpahics! Look at the textures! Also the bug seen on the screenshoot 2 and many many others look the same as bugs from movie Star Troops 1 & 2 ! As i think it stood same Half-Life with some physics and a bit better graphics. Also little open places, everything inside the buildings. But it will be selling just beacuase of it's name.
3. And ofcource realesed Doom 3 !!
Mine opinion: Will stay number one until Unreal 3 releases and possibly will stay with him on number one place or will go down to number 2. But it anywya will stay legendary game. 10 years passed since doom 1 went out! Surely a masterpice!

Awsome! Just awsome! Big respect to id softwarte ! I want to mention the atmosphere of the game: it's just incredible, just like in the past series. Every bullet on the count, scary during whole period of the game! No words to express the full hapiness from the game.
Conclusion:
1. Unreal 3
2. Doom 3
3. Half Life 2 (possibly some other games will take this place!)

I don't know about Unreal, will see when it comes out, but HL2 will suck lol, look at the pics, the graphics sucks.

From the screenshots I would say Unreal 3 it looks amazing! But from pure gameplay and previews I have seen on TV and the Internet, I have to say Half Life 2.
Like one really good producer said : " even the shitiest film can have the best presentation clip". So that what i think about HL 2 gameplay.

:) Well i want to say that no matter if Doom 3 or Unreal 3 wins i still will be happy, since i love both of those. 100 % Doom 3 will stay in the history of gaming as an example of excellent scripting, gameplay and just as a new begginign of old hit, cause doom3 is way much different from doom2.
I dont think you should compare Doom2 to Doom3. lets just say, this is how SEQUELS should be done. Wait a few years to perfect a good game and then release the sequels.
But games like Fifa have a very sneaky way of selling themselves since its based on annual season data!

i believe the best online game is Unreal tournamet 2004. It is waesome! :) the only thing that even comes near to it is Doom3 that scared me Shi*less!!!
