lol, gamecube. Two reasons why gamecube is not as good as others:
#1 it was made for kids, the best game they have is mario.
#2 the graphics is not that great, it is not as bad as ps1, but cannot come close to ps2 or xbox, and it costs less than gameboy - hehe, no more comments .
#1 only a fool would make a comment like this :lol:, perhaps the average GC-game is a bit childisher then the other consoles but they still rule, Metroid Prime isnt childish, blood omen2, bullet proof munk isnt ..... I could make a list from here too Tokyo ;)
2#graphics are better then PS2, and X-box just sucks.. the controller is as heavy as the whole GC :wink: and the ugly design and colors just dont fitt in my room. :)

lol this discussion is getting interesting. My vote still goes all the way behind PCs. They're never ending, always evolving platforms, so no matter what console u get PCs will always be one step ahead cos technology changes and PCs change with technology on the same wavelength where as consoles you have to wait for the anufacturers to build new ones. :P
As for the Xbox, well, to be honest i dont really like it, its a cheap excuse for Microsoft to get their hands dirty in the games industry and make even more money, but you cant help but see the fact that its just a PC covered in a console shell.
Bio playing games on PC is worst yoga(hope everybody knows whats that it). Only shooters and strategys, well,and rpg's. BUt they all look like clones, while console games are close to original ideas , ofcource there is always some ripes of old skool ideas, but console games kick shit of PC game,s depsite the fact PC games graphics rulez.
heh, Guess I'm the only one who still plays on a normal playstation. Purely for the quality of the games, even if the graphics are **ite compared against todays standards.
However there's the pc as well, which will never get old...

I think all onsoles have their strengths and weaknesses. Therefore I did not vote.
PS2: Strengths include a HUGE library of games and accessories and it is the easiest console to develope for. It has also been around a lot longer than the GameCube or X-Box. Weaknesses include a lower graphic quality than it's competition and the problems that a lot of them seem to get over time. I.E. Disc read problems, bad controller ports, overheating, etc.
X-Box: Strengths include a hard drive built in, the best online play of any console thanks to X-Box live, and the best graphics of any other console currently out there. Oh, how could I forget, it is also a microsoft product. Bill Gates has all the money in the world to put into this project. Weaknesses include it's horrible controller, a smaller game library than the PS2, and the fact that you mus buy extra stuff if you want to watch DVD's on it. Oh yeah, and it's a microsft product. (Awaits hate mail. 8) )
GameCube: Strenths include and excellent amuont of good exclusive games such as Mario Sunshine, Metroid Prime, Resident Evil, and Zelda, a very strong fanbase due to the success of nintendo's previous consoles, and better graphics than the PS2. It is also very small and portable which is great if you travel a lot. Weaknesses include and smaller game library than the PS2, a somewhat uncomfortable controller, and no DVD/CD player is included (unless you have the Nintendo/Panasonic "Q" version of the system. Lack of Mature games was once a problem but it is no longer (Thank God!).
PC: Strengths include better graphics (as long as your pc is new-ish), sound quality, and selection of games. Also, online play has been around since the beginning of public internet. Weaknesses include the need to upgrade older systems in order to play the newest games, freezes and glithes (especially in windows operated PC's), and possible driver problems.
I'm a hardcore gamer. I have almost every gaming console you can think of and I play them all. There are good games and bad games on all consoles. Choosing a favorite or saying that any one console or system is the best is an imposible thing for me. However, would like to kick all those guys who made the Sega Genesis in th ass becuase it had a lot of potential. They just had to ruin it. :x
