After 4 months of beta testing people can enjoy the final version of M$ product. "Spaces" get opened today also (blog service from M$). From the dozen features i liked the fact that MSN 7 integrates with Windows Media player and ITunes and can show which melody is playing now.
By coincident I recommended this to a friend, without knowing it got officially released. And she went mad on me because after installing it, none of the plugins got installed (such as winks, handwriting tool etc.)
I felt violated cos I had the BETA working fine for me yet the full install had problems :?
Getting it now and i'll drop some info here about this release.
Great, everything is working now, maybe it is a problem, that an official release cant send to beta one ? But i guess there can be a good explanation :)

Well the girl seems to have managed to get Winks and other things working. But handwriting tool addon still isnt installing on her MSN7. Weird!
Because MSN 7 already got a hand-tool ! lol
No its an addon it doesnt come ready installed. It is included but you still have to install it as an addon.
MSN7 crashes so many times, text i write never gets sent 50% of the time. I should have stayed with the BETA. This whole thing is a big advert advertising Microsoft's Search, Spaces (blog) and to make some money from the public. Who in their right mind will pay £1 for a wink? :roll:

no, text comes readily installed, i got msn7 beta and the hdanwriter was there and active without me doing anything, same thing for 7 full
btw,trillian is for the queer ;)
Install a Trillian and get a big hole to your PC security ;)
Bio i guess there is something wrong with you and your friend lol. Handwriter comes already included with MSN 7 Full. But i should admit, that i have noticed some of mine messages not reaching the person i am talking to.
And man you really hate M$ :D
I dont usually hate MS but I just dont like where this new MSN Messenger is heading. Into a commercial zone making money out of convos between you and your friends.
Just imagine, if Google made their own messenger and started putting AdSense ads with bots that scan through your convos and show targetted ads based on what you're talking about. :shock:
Lets hope Google isnt reading this forum, otherwise i just gave them an idea :?

Damn, what the hell... you cant even send .mp3 files through MSN anymore. Yet you can zip them up and send them through? :x
Microsoft has gone too low this time, ok that stops filesharing (great like they can stop it) but what if this mp3 tracks are done by yourself and you're trying to send it to friends and family. No common sense at all :roll:
just rename to .mp6? :roll:

Yeah I tried it once. Seemed ok - but there was something I coulnt figure out that annoyed me. I guess it is often down to that you are and arn't used to.
