Ok guys, I have a new challenge for everyone. I was looking at the gallery and I came across a photo with a cool camera effect by Trico, so I decided to base this photo hunt on this idea.
Objective: Anything related to camera handling/technique/special effect. Be it macro, blurr, smudge, morph, shutter control, double take etc. Normal photos are NOT allowed, it must be an "interesting" photo not just a point and shoot.
Forbidden: No editing/touching up/enhancing in Photoshop or any other design application. The only actions that are allowed are resize/crop and copyright text (if neccessary).
Photos must be YOUR own property - submissions found to be fake or do not belong to the candidate will be removed and the person disqualified from this photo hunt challenge. And point will be taken away from the person.
Award: Winner receives 50 GfxDiary points. Let the hunt begin
I go first - this is a night vision moving shot i snapped while driving around Dubai. I must say I wasnt intending for it to come out like this, even though i knew my camera doesnt work well at night (especially shooting a moving target) ;)
Cant say i like ya pic man. First of where is a macro shot? You want to start again a quarell now about macro photos? Also what you mean under "be a shot taking the camera to its limits" lol beat with a bite to it start making insane pics? Ya pic is just what is called drive-effect, bad camera, so effect. It can be done by driving in the car and if the camera is bad, you get that blurry pic. Professional cameras will make a normal pic!
If we think of the task better, i guess i let mine photographer in to show you girls whats the pain is.

I already suggested that Bio should consider renaming the challenge as it certainly isn't based on macro, read your PM's lately? :)
If you decide to take any shot whilst at dark/night conditions it doesn't matter if you have a basic point and shoot like Sony's Cybershot or a top range Powershot/Digital Rebel camera; you will get blurring. Just like any photo you take you've still got to compose it properly and find a point of interest. One of my favourite an' often over used scenes involves camping out with a tripod over looking a motor way.
If you want to come across as witty at least learn to construct a sentence with proper grammar, otherwise you come across as some what stupid... not to mention people can only understand half of what you're trying to say.
 Sorry for rushing the topic guys I should have explained more. Well, I didnt intend to make the hunt only based on photo blurr, I was thinking of a more general camera control. I guess I should replace "MACRO" with "EFFECT"! Thats what I had in mind when the topic started
RedD: this isnt a quarrel or a discussion topic, so dont take that direction. If you dont have anything to contribute to this photo hunt, kindly refrain from posting.
Trico: thanks for the PM! Nice entry, i doubt if i can match it, i'll try though
Ps: I know i talk a lot of rubbish you should read some of my university coursework papers hehe! I've rephrased my post now so you should all understand it :)
Ok, my entry(s):
Blue LED
Desk lamp
Porch door
Street light
No editing, just my cam and a resize in ps.
That 2nd photo is really good, i love what you done there with the lighting, looks almost like a 3d render :)
Thanks. But the best part is that it took no effort, I just danced about with my camera waving it infrount of my desklight thing.
Thats the trick about photography. Learning to dance with your camera :?
Yea for sure. Another trick is to learn to not even to look through it :P
3 of those 4 shots were taken without even looking through the damn lense or the LCD preview screen.

I was hoping nobody notices this.. but.. um.. GfxDiary points mysteriously disappeared during the site remake
Im out of points to give away so i left it running ;)
Note: Anybody got an alternative to points (e.g. award ceal, link exchange, showcase for x days) go ahead and open a topic in site feedback and pour your heart out.
Ah ok then, nevermind :)
