Help me choose VideoCard

Hello people i own nvidia GeForce Fx5200 128mb atm and it its awful!

Can somebody recommend me a car in the range of 300 $.

I am not really into this stuff, so please help me.

In that pricerange the best would be the Saphire Radeon Atlantis 9800 Pro thats about 229 euro here.
or you could go for the one of the best cards at the moment the Saphire Radeon Atlantis X800 Pro wich is 409 euro here.
this card bis better than the GeForce 6800 Ultra/TD wich was the best one.

just got a TNT2 ;).. cant help you with that ;)..

Unfortuanetly i dont got 409 $ , also i guess this cards require a new cooler also.

I own this card, what's so wrong with it ? you could probably cook an egg on the heat sink but that doesn't make it bad card imo. Attach another 50mm fan on top and it's good to go.

I see little point in buying the most recent Graphics Cards because its certain for them to become outdated in a very short space of time. Save yourself some cash and buy the next model down.

Unless of course you're loaded.

Trico then recommend me the detonator version, i get many laggs and bugs with this card. i got 56.64 one installed ofcource WHQL.

Man you got screwed like hell. Here i went to the first UK computer website here what i found :
http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo.asp?WebProductID=127836

lol same asus v9999 but just for less price, like 325 pounds.

i know the prices went down alot, but i dont care...i cant still afford 3 pcs all PCI E enabled with 6 asus v9999s

so it dont really matter =P

Pro != XE
its the best of the best, and its new, so you got to pay for it

BTW dunno why everybody keeps saying Radeon x800 is better, cause i can post pics with tests where Nvidia makes radeon!
