Just a few of the improved areas I like, the Healing brush seems to blend nicer making better use of surrounding colour as opposed to just texture. It only works in a stamp motion so harder to mess an area up. The file browser is improved as well... you can customize it to view decent sized thumbnails, I use it alot when looking at folders containing stock photography stored on my hard drive.
Other than those mentioned the only other thing I've really used is the 'photo merge' command, which is quite fun to mess with. If you do any sort of digital photography you'll really appreciate it.
Adobe didnt spend over a year of developemnt to release CS for no reason ;) This isnt Fifa - they developed the product and improved it a lot. Lots of bugs fixed, and some areas have been enhanced.
If you really like you can read the Change Log from Photoshop V7 to Photoshop CS but from my opinion, they've made it easier to use and get started with, therefore they're aiming to make PS more usable for the average non-designer :)
Adobe decided to control their own money. First of i have mentioned any valuable changes in PhotoShop CS, but i think they are going to make a better toy with PhotoShop CS 2(or whatever) release. This version is aimed to test their new Activation system i guess. Due to info from Adobe.com i realised that it is allowed to install one version of PS CS only on 2 PC's(means use one cd only for 2 installs and activations). If ya system crashes and you have to reinstall windows you have to buy new CD! I guess really bad idea, because we all know how "friendly" windows can be sometimes! I will keep myself to PS 7.0 .
Piracy will never be stopped, those guys will always be one step ahead. The best way to tackle this problem is to lower the price = more people will buy = more profile for Adobe while keeping their customers happy.
i found the program fine, not an amazing leap that is to be compared to the jump from 3dsmax4 to 3dsmax5 or something to that effect...it still has its and cons though, thus still makes you wish they implemented some features that I find really useful in its competitor's package, Jasc PSP 8.0.
have both installed, use only 7.0, don't know why.
I only recently made the swich from 7 to CS. I have not noticed a lot of difference at all, but I would say I prefer it.

Mine personal opinion:

The only thing i can add is that Hackers are always 2 steps ahead always ready to everything and i guess there are many cracks for PS CS already.
