It's blue, and it's calm. :) Something quick for a monthly artwork theme (blue calmness) over at rh.
The 2d was a bit rushed so dosn't look too good, but I think I will make a proper, larger version when I get round to it.
Beond the superficial trend whoré crap it has some nice aesthetics and I like the soft contrast. It's blue (Okay I love blue), but it definently isn't calm. In my eyes it's energetic, fast paced, lively; the composition is too busy to appear calm. I'd almost half expect to see this as some techy cover art for some Ibiza Anthems compilation CD etc. I don't particularly like that rectangle slapped in the middle of no where, it breaks the flow and generally just seems there for the sake of having it.
It has its good and bad points.
ps. Who or what is 'RH' ?
RH is RipperHunting (http://www.ripperhunting.com/). Ok the second one isn't very calm. Yea the 2d was a bit shoved on anywere, I didn't carry on with it as il make a bigger one some time and spend more time. I love blue also :)
I really like the first one, maybe its a bit too light in the center but thats it.
I also like the rainbow thing in the middle, this must be how heaven looks like when you
look in the visor of your camera just before you photograph it. :p

Nice piece there Xeophex, although its very nice and attractive, got all the ey candy you'd need to fool the judges and claim a prize it does fit the "digital tech" scene. If you want proof then picture this with a background sounds. What would it be? Fast paces techno or some jazz? ;)

Well done! Nice idea, shapes... I just don't like the rainbow colors on the first picture. I think you should make it the same color scheme.
