A couple of logos; I'm still playing with ideas, mostly basic shapes or styles at the moment - will move on to colour ones later... which do you think work the best so far ?

Those additional side-lines shouldn't be there, but Freehand isn't the greatest at exporting as bitmaps.
I'd say Idea One is the nicest.
So far I like idea two the rest are a bit chunky. That's what I think anyway...
2 and 3, what kinda music? you should make it fit to the music you make ;) and whe i see these logos i dont know what kinda music you make ;)
Logo 1 is good but i think Logo 2 will work better as a promotional/representation symbol. But it all comes down to the music, if u want a grungy/rock/metal music then maybe Logo1 or Logo3 will do the job!
A mellow type of grunge would probably best describe it. To quote my friend the first logo "looks like a dark hardcore German metal band..." - I won't take that one any further. I'm going to stick with 4 & 2 for the moment...
Second I think. It has more style than others.
