i just spent over a half hour updating my tutorial so it will be avaible on this site without providing a link and it turned out pretty ok, but i discovered that i the background color had to be changed so i went back to change it after i had updated it and the whole tutorial was gone. there was only two steps. there is no way iam spending another half hour uploading it for a little problem like that. so iam just reporting that the tutorial submission thing is messed up because i tried pressing the back button on my browser to retrive it and i couldn't. Please acknowlegde this problem and retrive my tutorial. i only did this for the sake of my tutorial being deleted.
Damn, Trico informed us of a similar problem recently when he tried submitting a tutorial too. Well, thanks for letting us know, i think i've identified what the problem is.
I'll try to retrieve your tutorial. For now its up to you whether to hold while we fix the problem or continue publishing the other tutorials. Its a small problem with using appostrophies ( ' ). It'll take sometime to iron out this bug. We appreciate the understanding GfxDiary should still be considered in its BETA stages - there are bound to be more bugs in the future :!:
ok please work on the problem because i just dont have the time to redo it
Ok, you must have submitted the tutorial again after editing it therefore i couldnt retrieve it. I've now extracted the code from your site, cleaned it and published it for you. You're welcome to edit the tutorial and look at the source to see what tags i've left and what tags i've removed.
Basically, delete all the tags and only keep bold italic and underline tags. Also instead of using the paragraph (
) tag use the break lines (
) instead!
I advice you to copy all the source code before submitting just incase you loose the work! Also make sure you dont use ' to bypass the bug till we fix it
