hey people check out this entertainment center that i made, i made the wooden texture in photoshop. For information on how to do it check out the tutorial here http://llstudios.net/main.php?page=tut_ps_textures_wood.html
for now check out the entertainment center also designed in AutoCad with simple solids
enjoy and comments if you will
Nice texture, and the lighting works excellent on the 2nd and 3rd render however the 1st one still need some work ;)
Good architectural design only suggestion for improvement would be to add shine and reflection to the glass so it stands out!
thanks a lot man i really appreciate it the graet comments man , u are truly a great adminstrator. I think i will do the glass thing as soon as i have some time on my hands. Thanks again man for the support. for all the other poeple come view my work.
good work, i dunno if the things where u open the bottom doors are deep enough, like u know where u booleaned that handel thing. you knowwwwwwwwwwww the thingymagiger lol
its deep enough its supose to be like that
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh My eyes are buringing. Dude work on the rendering and lighting and use a new render like VRay or Brazil aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
no offense
if you need help ask
how do u install brazil and use it to render? thats my question. and wat is VRay? please explain
It's easy to install brazil, if you have a version that works with your version with max, you can just install it like any other program...
Vray is a pretty fast really nice render also for 3ds max. It was used for the effects in "Final Destination 2" etc.
But you don't really need these renders, since you, IF you have max 6, already have mental ray (Used for Fightclub, the matrix reloaded, star wars episode 1 and 2, The hulk, terminator 3, Panic room, etc. etc. etc....)
Mental ray can be quite a pain to learn, and full use is first archieved when you can program your own shaders, but it's definitely nice to have to play with...
But the fact is, that much of the great lighting seen in 3d pieces today are made without all the advanced stuff...
So you just need some training in lighting...
thanks man, but ELf how do u know all this about the renders that were in all these films that u mentioned?
They usually state what they've used, cos in the real/commercial world everything is stated and referenced ;)
First pic is too bright but the others looks great!
http://www.mentalimages.com/
Besides, I've read some reviews, seen some credits, talked with people, seen examples...
But chekc the site, under gallery...
Nice, thanx for the link. :)
i want mental ray!!!! ive been looking for it everywhere,....i mean at stores....cough and ya.....but i forget who but someone said its not for 3d max 5, i think ELF said that?
Hehe, check this out... http://fujang.dk/Chromepot.jpg
That's from the scanline render, I did it in 20 mins, and the render time was 44 seconds...
Normally with global illumination and stuff, it would take over 3½ minutes...
The point is, that it's not the tools, but the talent that's making the art...
A bigger kitchen doesn't make a better cake, but a btter cook does... And yes, you CAN compare kitchens and 3d apps, both are workspaces...
ahahaha ELF you're too good at 3d and damn you think weird. Well, how about a better cook without ingredients? Important ingredients like Mental Ray for example?
You look at it the wrong way Bio...
Actually, mr would be the owen ;)
The ingredients would be imagination and pictures and sketches and stuff, things you don't make in the 3d app...
So actually, they're very easy to compare...
elf, wat great philosphy u have, i mean comparing 3dsm with a kitchen very interesting
"Hello and welcome to the 3d kitchen. Today we're gonna cook us a nice reptilesoldier a la desertrider, in a Global Illumination scene, mixed with a nice touch of volumetrics. First off we start with the reptile soldier, I prefer using Sub-D for this, since it's so much easier than patches for complex object... Now I have cheated a bit and made it beforehand..." I want my own cooking show! :D
ahahahaha thats crazy. Hey you can always use video tutorials ;) And with GfxDiary your wish could become true - 3DKitchen.GfxDiary.com hehehe never say never :P
Hehe, with sections like "small snacks for the kids" with testscenes, "reciepies" for the tutorials, "tips and tricks" for the small notes etc.... But might look into that some day :D
im contagious it seems
Don't worry the're developing a vaccine for it :)
there is no vaccince its so damn addicating
