You should make corners more rounded and windows are too small. But all in all I like the work. It reminded me a toy car which I had long time ago! :)

Move the ountains away, and make more of them
You should add a light more, and place it facing the end of the wagon, maybe SLIGHTLY color it and set the multiplier for it a bit down, no shadows on it.
Add a "smooth" modifier to the bus, and select "auto smooth" (NOT the meshsmooth modifier)
The smooth modifier makes the faces blend together so you get a seamless surface. to avoid smoothing of edges like one on top of the bus, and one of the wall, where you cant an edge, you have smoothing groups,
where all the faces in one group gets smoothed together, and all the faces in the next gets smoothed together (a face can be assigned to more than one group, used to avoid smoothing seams)
Now you don't have to assign the smoothing groups if you just want a logical smoothing, you just use the "auto smooth" function, which smoothes all the faces, untill it meets one or more faces that is more than a special number of degrees turned compared to the ones around it/them, then it/they get a new smoothing group. The value for this number of degrees is what you can adjust next to the "auto smooth" checkbox.
PHEW! that was a big one :S But should fix the edged back of the bus.
You should also try to do something about those rimes... I think it might look ok, if you select a material, change it to a raytrace material, and set the reflectivity color to white.
To find out how to do this, go to http://www.3dluvr.com/content/article/129/4 and complete step 1 under Material, the picture will show you where to find the button. (The tutorial the link leads to is by me, BTW ;) )

Now LEARN! Because my fingers are aching after typing that fast... :P

ELF, i didnt make that bus in 3dsmax, i designed it in AutoCad and its renders arent that good. I did it a long time ago so i can only smoothen it if i import it or do a complete redesign in Max. As for you Blaze, the bus is suppose to be a toy and the project is was named rolling toy animation

I don't criticize you. I said I like your work. Btw add smth. on the bus's side f.e. "LimitLess Toys" and the buss will look more... "toyfull"

hey i didnt say u did critize me, i 'm glad that u like my work. enjoy. i didnt mean to offend u if i did.

Nice work, although you have all the main elements there you still need some small touches to give it extra realism. Small thigns such as having tags on the bus itself, such as the Name as BlaZe suggested! The mountains need to be blurred to signify the distance and the focus on the toy cargo itself.

Overall, pretty good! Keep it up!

You can still either add the modifier onto the imported object, or convert it to editable poly or editable mesh, and add the modifier on top of that, or use the smoothing functions in the editable poly/mesh, where the exact same controls can be found...

Thanks BioALIEN for all those great comments and suggestions. ELF, i really never knew that u can edit imported objects but where exactly can i convert it to editable poly or editable mesh? thanks again ELF

i think its cute, actually if u made the moutain more cartoony instead of changing everything that could work :) but...what i find reallllllly funny, the yellow strips on the road are supposed to be painting on not 3 odjects ! lol

i guesss u make a good point, i'll work on that

modeling in ACAD is hard, and whoever can do such a thing with such a program is good...(bow)

thanks for that compliment man, i reall appreciate it. By the way would anyone be interested in basic AutoCad tutorials?

Hmmm, you rightclick the object, in the lower right menu, in the bottom, it says convert to, move the cursor to there, and in the new menu select Editable Poly...
But it easier to select the model, under the modify panel, select a modifier from the drop down list, and select the smooth modifier...
Sorry that this wasn't too specific, but I was out drinking yesterday, and I'm still pretty wasted and tired :S

ok thanks for that but who is interested in AutoCAD tutorials? please tell me
