This is my first attempt at a 3D abstract, and was looking for some C+C on it. I'm enjoying this medium much more than anything Ive done before so far. I've been out of computer graphics for a few years now, but am diving in again.
Anyways about the art...
I rendered it in Bryce 5, and edited it up in Photoshop 7. Spent about 8-10 hours or so on it, thanks to restarting after not being happy with a first draft.

Um.. the image doesnt load, DeviantArt servers are rather slow since they're over loaded! You might want to try creating an Album and uploading the image to your personal album on GfxDiary!

As for your peice I don't like it all that much, sorry to introduce negative vibes, but abstract isn't my thing in any sense. I think 3D progs should be used to model not create 'fruity looking pictures, which are then named something exotic afterwards.' Its good for its eye candy appeal and the fact its blue, :) but thats where it ends imho.

Hey! All C&C is taken as is, and appreciated. No offense taken, art is purely about your personal tastes.

Increadible, I've been doing 3d for so many years now, and I still can't figure out how people do that stuff!
Maybe because I also find it rather cheasy... ESD? don't you mean LSD? ;)
But looks ok, would be a nice background... Don't really like the text though, since it kinda takes the attention away from the artistic abstract, which is... Well... VERY bad...
I think the whole thing looks great! especially the generator stat things on the side :)
i like it, it would make a nice background, but those eletric things ruin the picture.

i like it quite hard to look at but i think its pretty cool
