hello world

Its fixed :idea:

The html tags you attempted to use are not allowed...

Explain?

(done using the same example as above)

muahahaa, lemmy test

Testing

edit: well thomas 1st did allow tables (without knowing it)
but after me abusing the table he added it :P

ok, trying to ruin the forum layout for testing purposes with thomas's permission.

testor
ruin!

muahaha
oh boy!

edit: well, dont abuse this :), take note, this table is not in my sig, but in the post itself, due to wrong html code it messed up the layout of this post.

Guys, if you are going to use html in your posts make sure they go INSIDE the CODE tags. Otherwise the site will not accept your posts and an error message will appear. We will be adding the restrictions so that HTML code is only used inside the [ CODE ] tags

lol, thomas turned table tags off again, so now im the ONLY member wich has posted a table!

Um, perhaps they would care to turn the [style] tag on and allow the posting of CSS ?

[style type="text/css">
html, body {
font-family: times, 'times new roman', georgia, serif;
font-size: 0.7em; }

(Disregarding the fact I've had to use semi-square/triangle brackets to render it in the post intact; it will not display my simple example without the *beep*'ing message appearing...)

Some aspects of posting html code were originaly working before I brought this issue up, which explains the doctype but this thing is bugging me; no pun intended. This is true with or without the [ code ] tags.

This is now in our TODO list. Will be tweaked till we get it ballanced perfectly. Thanks for ur considerable testing everybody!

Bye

Sim, i appreciate your curiosity to test HTML and other malicous code on the site, but that above mess is DOWN RIGHT SPAM! This is your first official warning. Two more warnings and you'll get banned from GfxDiary. You've just lost 10 points!

I hope this underlines how serious we are about spam posts around here! :idea:

lol, seems he testen php aswell =/
heh, that warning brings up an idea, how about showing the warning points in the post, same as on tutorial forums.

No if you care to read the Rules & Regualtions, a member has three warnings before being banned. After that the time varies before the member is reinstated and unbanned. We dont want to make a mockery of people, and we definatly dont want to encourage people and give them a reason to get warnings.

Anyway, this is getting off topic, lets keep within the topic at hand here :arrow:

thats mean, i lost points for doing a od public post now lost more points, give them back. When does my warning 1 go away?

Didn't anyone ever tell you not to back chat ? :)

With 5 concecutive posts like that, it was easy to predict what would happen.

ps. sorry for going off-topic again.

Back to the main topic here, we've dissabled HTML from the entire site and forum - which kinda puts us back to square one again. This time we'll try and tackle the use of HTML in posts to be treated as normal text and not recognised as HTML!

Give us some time to get this done properly, we'll let you guys know when its fully done!

The HTML issues are still in the works, but at least we have a lead.
I seem to be able to use HTML code in my posts without being treated as HTML and displayed normally so at least its recognising it. But maybe this is because im on an admin account. Now we just gotta bring the permission level to all members.

argh, I guess its up to me again to fix it :/
