I was surfing the net and i came accross this really cool idea about a vector gfx battle. just think, no more photoshop show off, this is purly about lines and shapes. i think we should give it a try - what do you guys think?
i've seen pixel style battles so why not try a vector style battle...

we need more info. vector battle is ok with me because i just 'got' illustrator. i will suck though because I do not know how to use it.
we can have a vector gfxbattle where we do everything using the vectore application. it works exactely like any other battle, i do one piece, u must continue the style by using one element from the former round and do you're reply, then i do one then you...and so on!

yeah, i used photoshop for my vectors, cept' my vectors had a bit too much detail, when im a pro :) i might have a vector battle sometime
well, using photoshop is cheating cos then its tempting to use some of those layer blend modes and filters :P
The whole idea with vector battle is simplicity and style. If you can just use the shape tooks in photoshop and promise not to use the other options then i dont mind:!:

no not at all, since with all vector apps you can "group" "ungroup" your objects so working with layers will just mean the same technique in the end ;)
ah so i dont cheat, cool, well i know someone who is really good with them so ill get him to make me better...
hehehe boy u better get better if u wanna challenge me. I got into gfx through vector design and animation. Btw, wouldnt it be better for you to learn Adobe Illustrator or CorelDraw rather than using photoshop to do vectors? Those programs specialise in just vector alone where as photoshop is more bitmap based.
well i dont have those programs, i like to stick with what i know too, well on most occassions,
