My faves are the first two, the un-usual colourse in addition to the tight cropping make those really cool shots!
I personally don't like the 3rd and 6th shots (looking from left to right) as it's not obvious enough what those objects are... I know that many people would feel that that is the whole point of closeups - to either figure out what the objects are or use your imagination to 'fill in' the rest of the picture...
I think that the 4th shot could maybe have done with a tighter crop, but again, that is a matter of taste.
The last shot is nice, but it would have been cool either to use the blue lighting you used in the earlier shots or angled the camera before shooting...
Can't claim to be an expert in photography though so you're best taking my comments with a pinch of salt.
By cropping I was meaning that the photo could probably have done with the shot being zoomed in more to the subject, cutting other parts of the photo off... I felt the background objects were a little distracting in that shot.
Hmmm... now I have had a second look at it I think I've changed my mind... :P What's the thing that is sticking out infrom of the lower right part of the connector?
Well i never been keen on those close-up's, but still keep it going.
some of those close-ups are really good. you can make really cool wallpapers with them :P
Those kinda shots would be good as add-on materials and effects for your normal everyday gfx work ;)
I'm in agreement with BioALIEN...
