Hey theres something i dont understand, i always see like Procreate Painter 7 and like Corel painter 8, what the....corel bought painter from procreate? Explain if u know :shock:
Yeah, the original authors (MetaCreations) of Painter decided to ditch all their apps and concentrate on a different product (ViewPoint Technology). They also changed their corporate name and focuse. All their products were sold to the highest bidders. Corel purchased Painter and other titles such as Kai's Power Tools, Bryce and Vector Effects while other bidders purchased their other apps.
