has this game development even started yet?

.. thats the whole reason i signed up for the forums ;] to bad i cant view the documents cause i dont have adobe acrobat and i dont want to download it ;]

hehehe you're soo lazy, PDF is now an important file format that most people should already have access to ;)

The development on BioGame have not yet started because we are in need of programmers. Almost all of the current team lean more towards creativity

We have concept material, sound files, script/story files but almost no development at all. We have started discussions on a few possible routes with regards to engines and how what route to take, but since we have no experience in the field, we'd rather leave it to the programmers themselves to make the decision to what engine the game should have, whther we have to create our own or use and existing (open-source) engine.

Without programmers on board this project will not move forward :(

hmm you can try gamedev.net and post in there help wanted forums or, go to garagegames.com and post some programmer wanted ads, i see they usually get a lot of active responses.

Thanx for that, will pop down there soon and shout it out loud. Its time we get this project built ;)

there was a site i saw a few days ago, i remember thinking that it would be useful for Biogame but i cant remember the site. I think it was www.gameinstitute.net or .com etc.

I mostly think that all this Bio Game shit is mist in ya eyes. It will never be realsed, never be the programmers team gathered.

It all been fucked up 4 mounths ago.

Geeez i was so interested in this shit.

i have a game idea i have had for 2yrs ;]

RedDragon, i have no idea what you just posted, but yeah. I agree, without programmers this game wont go forward. That doesnt mean i lost all hope. If we cant make this game in the end, we can most definatly forward it to professional game studios where they can continue where we left off

BioGame is not a full time project. It's a hobby, a project that gives me and all parties involved something to do during spare time while being part of a team. We all love to work for an established game studio but they require from you hands on experience on past projects you are involved in. This could be one of those project. I have no doubt in my mind that 10 years from now i will still be carrying the BioGame flag :!:

If you wanted to see instant results while not putting in the effort then maybe you should have thought twice about joining this project in the first place.

No offence but if you believe all that why are you in the Biogame team in the first place?

OK, my message above was cut half way so i added the missing pieces to it. Also wanted to say that we're ordinary people, not geniuses ;)

RedDragon, if u wanna see "quick" results maybe you should join one of those many BF/CS/HL mod groups! I know nexflo is working on one so theres your ticket right there!

im a genius.
