wow, i keep on returning to this. This is exactly how i pictured Hazard Survivor would look (maybe without that scar, but that just adds extra realism)!
He looks like a US marine soldier and thats what matters. You did a great job A4D keep it up...
I been thinking, we need more "girl" characters in the game cos at the moment we have none. oh well, in the coming levels/missions we'll need to introduce some...
there was something really bothering me about it and i couldnt put my hand on it, but i figured it out, look at his jaw, its like going under and past his ear?? wheres his neck at lol

well, i saw that this pic and there was just some thing to change its more like...um well whatever i suck at explaining. Just look lol. I dont know how to do crazy 3d things so i just used smudge,blur and brush :? lol so here it is, im waiting for alien to put it on the server but for now look at the link:

Thanx for pointing that out. A4D any chance of lifting the ears a little? Or are you just gonna leave this and start on a different character concept from the game?
no its not just his ear is big, i pushed it up, because before it was way lower. but i wanted to change it some more but my skills arent that good lol.
Yeah, there aren't enough deformed people in games, but then again playing as the elephant man wouldn't be as good as playing as someone like Bruce Willis or Arnold Shwartzeneger or however it's spelt :).
I've got nothing against deformed people but it's just not cricket :lol:.
No but seriously, jokes aside i think Vinc3 has a valid point. Look at the original render by A4D and you will notice something is odd. Its the ear, it needs to be bigger to fit the head. I think Vinc3 is spot on :)
However, as always, i have to voice the full opinion of both sides so here goes the argument side: although this render look nice and cool, the fact is that it wont be anywhere near this smooth in-game. As we all know it, it'll get all "poligonised" (somebody check - i think i just invented a new word :D) and the face will look a messed up cube like shape with textures added to it :lol:

The shadow is very dark so his neck is probably covered in shadow.
