OK i've been trying my hand at posters using Photoshop and this is what i've come up with. It was a quick attempt at silencing those who claim i dont use colours in my work because i cant distinguish between grey/colour :roll:
Heheh I wasnt trying to prove my Photoshop skills, just the fact that i can use colours in my work. I've set the template and layout.. The above pic is only 50% of the original, i guess it would look amazing as a poster coving the entire wall in ur room :roll:
sorry, i got too carried away with the big borders. I just wanted more emphasis on the actual contents so i gave it a thick dark frame. I've looked at some online posters and just wanted something slightly different. I guess i'll improve over time...
I like the layout too, but i think the thing that annoys me is the cricle thing. The like whit things that are comming out of it seem wrong, especialy on the right side. anyways.
3/5
Here it goes, because 1-5 is simple:
1=Poor - needs major work
2=Average - can be improved
3=Good - some minor changes here and there
4=Very Good - i'm happy with it if you're happy with it
5=Excellent! - Its da bomb!
Hmm, reminds me that I have to learn to use photoshop...
How did you throw this up? I mean... I am N00B at Photoshop for anything but painting textures...
Gradient, a bit of blending, and major smudging combined with blur. The circular disk is done with wind and polar coordinates filters. A bit of experiementing around and i got the colours looking realistic!
well again....I like the layout :)
the color is nice as well, maybe a tad too much purple in the middle/top
besides that very nice...(is that high res image 150 dpi+? or whats the little text doing there?)
BIo u rpoved u cna use colours, but not PhotoShop :D LMAo
Anyway 3.5/5 th way to go man.

Cool poster IMO...sweet colors, and I'd put it on my wall. But the border looks a bit weird...not sure why. Awesome overall though
the border is a little too thick, just make it a little smaller a it will look PRO.
Overall it is good except for that one little thing
Way to go

Hey, why do you guys rate on a scale of 1-5, and not 1-10...j/w
why not 1 - 100 lol
WHILE WE'RE AT IT, WHY NOT 20-350?!?! :P
No, I was just wondering...1-5 seems off if you ask me
Damn, you offtopic takers!
