Nice idea (defenitely a good shot for the first time), but I am not sure about clors... Maybe you'll make the sky more "nighty". And I've got a question: Is the sea under fire? This huge fireball stretching round the sea?
Good piece, the colours are alright in my opinion. However, you should have taken the render in Photoshop, touched it up a little more, added blur to get rid of the low quality sharpness generated by Bryce and then added some more effects and shadows to make it stand out and give more realism to the fire and tones.
