A poster advertising a fictional exhibition for my photography class. Fancied doing something a little different. The 3d submerged letters were created in Cinema 4d and the photograph of my hand holding some photographs was taken with my Kodak DX4530 (5.0 megapixels, 3x optical zoom). Everything else was done in Photoshop CS at 300dpi.
Great effort. The final result sure looks stunning. I like the level of detail - look at the texture of that metalic sphere 8)
How many hours worth?

Thanks Bio :D
I can’t remember exactly how many hours, it was done in an evening though, perhaps 4 hours or so – including the 3D Abstract style underwater bit (which says “Photography Exhibition” btw). Surprisingly the bg actually took a lot of time. Tracing a sample of a 18th century style wallpaper scan, modifying it, and then defining a custom pattern from the tile. I have made a little tile bg .zip pack of it, perfectly tiling, with several different colours – Ideal for web use. Technically it is some 18th century guy’s design – but I’m sure he won’t mind ;)
Heheh im sure if he's still alive he'll be proud the world is distributing digital versions of his work for free?
Damn i never noticed those scrabbled letters actually make up words! Sneaky!
Haha, I did scrabble them up to much eh?!
Really doubt hes alive tbh, eitherway - I hope hes prowd. :)
