Back to topic i want to say that i like the background, gives the website a good touch and feel, thou Bio you need to keep visitin ya design cources, cause that blue text and absolutely stupid toobar with "Profile, PM's " tabs looks awful !
Also what are those arrows on the sides for ? They dont decorate, they make the header cluttered and destroys the geometry.
All in all nice advantages done here, i like them, but hey guys why you kept sending me those e-mail's like " Your account deactivated ... Reactivated... blocked .... Reactivated ... You recieved a warning " i have putten your bot to bann ;)

Hehehe thanks for the comments RedD, sorry for using your account as the scapegoat to test our BAN system. Thats what those blue cards are for.. then yellow cards for giving a warning (3 warnings) then a red card which is a site wide ban.
The site is still not 100% finished, we're still brushing up any small details we missed during the file move. Those top arrows will collapse the left/right panel depending on the page you're viewing.

its a bit to heavy becouse there is already an black bar above it..

That header originated from an advert i made for gfxdiary a year ago. I put it there when i first created this layout, one at the top (header) and one at the bottom (footer). During developement stages, the idea grew on me and that advert turned into a header.
I think its nice, that imbalance is what makes it look good. If i turn it grey to fit the design it'll look plain and generic like the old GfxDiary 2004 layout. To be honest, its the menu links under the header that i think dont fit and need more work. The header itself needs a more powerful image there though, maybe flash animated :idea:
Anyway, if i get many people wanting for a change then so be it. Its you guys who govern this site afterall ;)
